It is kind of nice to get to work early when there is lots of stuff on the day’s agenda. It is quieter, no one is really around to distract me, I can just focus 100% on getting shit done.

On days when there isn’t much on the docket (e.g. today) it is torture. Absolute torture. I am bored and fidgety with nothing to distract me. The day also just seems somehow longer than it does when coming in a bit later. I suppose I could still do something moderately productive like work on my Nanowrimo project, but my brain doesn’t generally turn on until at least 10:00.

It doesn’t help that I am current on every blog, webcomic, and social networking website and due to time differences have a solid six hours before any of it starts getting updated again. I never thought I could actually run out of ways to distract myself online. Craziness.
